TEVMUN 2025 is coming – Radio RDC talked about the event!

From September 5–7, 2025, the TEVMUN Conference (Towarzystwo Edukacyjne Vizja Model United Nations) will take place — a unique UN simulation for youth aged 14–21. The event is entirely organized by our high school students and will bring together participants from across Poland and abroad.

This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Reforming the Future Through Dialogue.” As one of the organizers, Ola Cabaj, emphasized:
“People often talk a lot but don’t listen enough — and we want to change that.”

Over three days, participants will work in ten committees, debating the most pressing global challenges — from climate change to international security. The outcome of their work will be resolutions that may be presented further. As co-organizer Tomek Balawajder explains:
“These debates teach teamwork and public speaking — that’s exactly what I gained from it myself!”

A special guest of the conference will be the Ambassador of Belgium, who will deliver a keynote speech to the delegates.

Our high school students — Ola Cabaj, Basia Przybysz, and Tomek Balawajder — already spoke about the event this July on Radio RDC. As Ola recalls:
“Visiting the radio station was an incredible experience. We had the chance to present TEVMUN to a wider audience as an opportunity for growth and collaboration. The host was really intrigued by the idea that young people want to take part in solving global issues.”
