Cambridge A-Levels at TE Vizja Mokotow: choose the Medical & Science Pathway

Starting in September 2025, TE Vizja High School in Mokotow is launching a new Cambridge A-Levels program designed for ambitious students aiming for medical and science studies in Poland or abroad. This is a unique opportunity to prepare for university in a globally recognized, modern education system.

What are Cambridge A-Levels?

A-Levels are international qualifications that are part of the Cambridge Pathway, typically taken by students aged 16–19 in the final two years of high school. This program:

• allows students to choose subjects they are passionate about and that align with their future university goals
• is highly respected by top universities in the UK, USA, and across the world
• develops critical thinking, analytical skills, and independent learning — all crucial for future academic and professional success
• is delivered entirely in English

Unlike the IB Diploma, A-Levels give students the flexibility to focus on three key subjects without needing to expand into unrelated areas — perfect for students with clearly defined academic goals.

What subjects do we offer?

At TE Vizja Mokotow, the medical and science pathway — starting from Semptember 2025 — will include:

• Mathematics (Cambridge A-Level Mathematics) – building logical thinking, problem solving, and analytical modeling skills
• Biology (Cambridge AS & A-Level Biology) – focused on hands-on learning and modern biological research
• Chemistry (Cambridge AS & A-Level Chemistry) – teaching students to understand chemical structures and real-world applications

Students will take AS Level exams at the end of the first year (often used as predicted grades for university applications), and full A-Level exams at the end of year two.

What else is included?

Cambridge Independent Project Qualification (IPQ) – a research project that develops academic writing, synthesis, and communication skills; highly valued by universities
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – a globally recognized extracurricular program that fosters leadership, volunteering, and personal development
